What’s New
Every change to this guide, newest first — and how it tries to stay current in a field that changes by the month.
AI moves fast, and a guide that quietly goes stale is worse than no guide at all. So this page keeps an honest record: what was added, what was revised, and when something that happened in the AI world changed what a page says. Each article shows the date it was last updated at the top; that date links back here.

How this guide stays current
- Fundamentals change slowly. How machines learn, what a language model is, the history, how to verify an answer — these pages are reviewed about once a year.
- Fast-moving facts are marked. Product names, features, prices, laws and benchmark scores carry a dashed As of 2026 stamp. When the year on a stamp is old, check a current source before relying on it — see How this guide works.
- Pages about tools and the workplace are reviewed more often, and any correction is logged here as an update.
- Big shifts in the field — a new kind of model, a major law, a change in what tools can safely do — are logged as “In the field”, with the pages that were revised to reflect them.
Spotted something out of date or wrong? Corrections are always welcome. A guide that admits and fixes its mistakes is the only kind worth trusting.
